How it works:

ALA FACTOR gel containing 5% 5-ALA penetrates the skin and specifically targets cells with impaired metabolism, where it accumulates. 5-ALA captures light energy and transfers it to oxygen in the tissues, converting it to singlet oxygen. This singlet oxygen induces self-destruction (apoptosis) of damaged cells.
